How to Activate your account and set your password

HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT AND SET YOUR PASSWORD

Please follow these steps if you haven't set your password. You will need to activate your account only once. This is to verify your account and that the email address that we have is still current. 

Step 1.  Go to our new site:  https://www.embweekly.com

Step 2. Click account

Step 3. Click "Forgot Password"

Step 4. Fill in your email address

Step 5. You will be sent a password reset email

Step 6. Check your email and click the " Reset Your Password" link

Step 7. Fill in your password and click "activate your account" .  You will only need to activate your account once. This is just to verify that the email is valid.

DESIGNS

What brand of thread do you use?

We use mostly Colorful and Marathon threads. There are many great brands of threads on the market.

What brand of thread is used in the stitch charts?

The purpose of the stitch chart is to show which part of the design is stitched at each color stop. A lot of our designs are projects, in the hoop designs etc and the choice of color used will depend on the fabric that you choose. This is also applicable to our designs.

We encourage you to use colors of your choice. It's not needed to use exactly the same colors as listed in the stitch chart. In fact we tend to change out the colors when we test stitch the designs. What makes each design unique, is using colors and threads of your choice!

Are your designs test stitched out?

YES! All our designs are manually digitized and test stitched out before being released.

Our prices are in USD (United States Dollar)

How do I pay for my designs?

At present, we use PayPal to process our payments. PayPal allows to to use credit card without needing an account.

Payment with credit card without PayPal Account:

  • Just select checkout with PayPal.
  • Select the option to pay with credit card without a PayPal account
  • and complete checkout.

Payment with PayPal Account:

  • Just checkout with PayPal
  • Login to your PayPal account
  • and complete the checkout

How do I download my designs?

Once your order is completed, you will be directed to a download page. You can download your designs from there.

You will also be sent an e-mail with your order and download links. You will need to login to your Embroidery Weekly account to download the files. When clicking the link, you will be directed to a login page. Login to your account and download the files.

You can also go into your Embroidery Weekly account, view your orders and download the files.

Is there a limit to my downloads?

YES. A download limit of 5 downloads per order will be applied. This means you can download the digital product you bought up to 5 times. Thereafter the design (digital product) will have to be purchased again in order to continue downloading copies.

Do the download links expire?

YES. Download links expire after 30 days. This means that you have 30 days from date of purchase to download your designs (digital product). Thereafter the design (digital product) will have to be purchased again in order to continue downloading copies.

Should I backup my designs?

YES! Absolutely!

BACK UP YOUR DESIGNS. If you backup your designs, you will not need to continuously keep downloading the designs. Also, you will have them safely stored should your computer crash. Computer crashes do happen. And lastly, having your purchased designs stored safely to a usb or hard drive, makes it easier to keep record of your designs.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Due to the electronic nature of our product and its ability to be reproduced, there are NO refunds or exchanges. We are extremely firm on this policy. PLEASE carefully review your order or ask questions PRIOR to purchase. 

It is the customer's responsibility to know and understand their hoop capabilities and maximum sewing field. Thank you!

SOFTWARE

What software do you use?

We use a variety of different softwares packages to create our designs, depending on what the desired effect. All designs are manually digitized and tested to provide you with the highest quality.

Can I resize your designs?

We do not recommend resizing our designs. Resizing the design can damage the integrity of the design, especially with freestanding lace designs.

We are UNABLE to custom size designs.

Should you decide to resize a design, you do so at your own risk!

Why do the colors of the design look weird?

When a design is put into the different machine formats, they sometimes change color to match the color pallette determined by the machine manufacturer. This is unfortunately out of our control. The good news is, we provide stitch charts for our designs so you can see which color is used for each color stop.

Help! I opened my design in editing software and the color sequence doesn't match the stitch chart!

When opening your designs in editing software, sometimes the software will automatically resequence the colors. If you choose to use embroidery editing software to open, edit, merge and export a design, it is YOUR responsibility to know your software. We are unable to provide support for your software should a problem arise due to too many variables in all of the software programs.
