Arabesque patterns and designs originally date back to 1000 AD in the Middle East. Today these beautiful patterns have been simplified and the geometric and curvilinear lines are used in amazing quilt designs.
These quilt blocks are made and quilted in the hoop. The sew and flip method is used to place all the fabrics and then the block is quilted. They stitch out really quickly, making this a great project for a weekend.
